The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all site electrical issues including but not limited to:

• Maintaining the site LV and HV systems
• Planning and assessing electrical installations
• PLC diagnostic and fault finding
• Co-ordinating in-house and contractor electrical work
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers on electrical issues

The job will mainly be performed on a day shift basis but may require some early and back shift working.

The Candidate

You should have a sound electrical background with at least 5 years industrial experience in a high volume production facility with the following knowledge:

• Minimum of HNC/HND in relevant discipline
• Qualified to IEE 16^th Edition standard
• Sound PLC diagnostic and programming skills
• Logical fault finding skills

It would also be highly advantageous but not essential to hold an IEE Inspection and Testing certificate and an HV system operation certificate as training will be offered.
