Andrew Muirhead leathers are tested and certified to meet the most exacting standards of performance and safety.

We are the only leather company with test facilities approved by the Civil Aviation Authority, and we have approvals to carry out Vertical Burn, Combination Burn and ABD00031 Smoke Density and Toxicity testing in-house.

All standard stock leathers are tested to British Standard and associated levels for thickness, tear strength, flexing endurance, colour fastness, resistance to blocking, adhesion of finish and ph of aqueous extract.
