> Aviation Testing
Only Muirhead leather is tested to the high standards described below. No other level matches Muirhead's proven levels of performance.
We are the only leather company with test facilities recognised by the Civil Aviation Authority, and we have approvals to carry out Vertical Burn, Combination Burn and ABD00031 Smoke Density and Toxicity testing in-house.

- Leathers tested to resist flame at high temperatures.
- Toxicity testing ensures no vapours when leather burns.
- Independence of testing facility safeguards objectivity of accreditation.
